Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) solution provider, E-CO, has been awarded accreditation to the Carbon Trust. This prestigious endorsement recognises E-CO’s commitment, skills and services to help businesses achieve energy efficiency.
E-CO provides high-intensity ultraviolet germicidal solutions for HVAC systems that improve the efficiency of systems and reduce energy and water consumption.
The Carbon Trust Accredited Supplier scheme is the market-leading scheme for suppliers of high quality energy efficient equipment and renewable technology. The scheme provides independent validation and recognition of a supplier’s skills and services.
E-CO Director, Hillary Spicer, said of the accreditation: “The Carbon Trust accreditation shows our commitment to, and gives our customers complete confidence in, the environmental performance of our products. This is something we take great pride in.”
The Carbon Trust accredited suppliers must meet or exceed criteria designed to examine their capability to deliver thoughtful, well-designed energy efficient and renewable energy systems.
E-CO’s accreditation is recognition of its products’ ability to improve efficiency, to reduce energy consumption by up to 20 per cent and to allow the recycling of water that would otherwise be ejected.
Mr Spicer added: “Our UVC equipment improves the efficiency of air conditioning systems and prolongs their lifespan. I believe this product should be in every air conditioning unit in every building in the UK. Achieving Carbon Trust accreditation is further proof of our achievements in this area and the energy saving results that our products can provide the businesses that use them.”
